[piece icon=”ok” title=”Do you do parties?” content=”

Absolutely!  I love parties.  Festivals are fine too, but at parties I can spend more time with each guest and really give them amazing artwork.  Plus, the adults see what I can do and end up asking to be painted as well.  It’s fun to transform into fantasy no matter what your age.”]
[piece icon=”ok” title=”I have sensitive skin, can I still be painted?” content=”

I only use FDA compliant, safe products.  My family has very sensitive skin too and other than my daughter having a latex allergy, (no more gluing zippers on her), we’ve all been fine with the products I use.  I use professional face and body products like Wolfe, DFX, Kyolan, Paradise, Mehron, Tag, and Snazaroo.”]
[piece icon=”ok” title=”What’s the best way to wash face paint off?” content=”

The skin is the largest organ of the body and subject to a lot of toxins.  It needs to breathe and be cleaned properly.  Although the products I use are safe, it’s not meant to be left on overnight.  Be sure to take a warm wet cloth and gently press it on your painted face, let the paint soften and then wipe away from your eyes.  Rinse your cloth and repeat.  Use a gentle face soap or baby shampoo to remove any residue.  If you have particularly dry skin, it may be more difficult to remove.  Moisturize your face, wait 20 minutes and then wash again.”]
[piece icon=”ok” title=”Are you insured?” content=”

Yes.  I’m an active member of CAFABA (Canadian Association of Face and Body Artists.  As members we commit to using safe products and practices and pursue excellence in our craft.  My insurance gives you assurance that your guests are safe and the memories we create together are all good ones.”]
[piece icon=”ok” title=”Will you paint for free at my fundraiser?” content=”

There are some causes I do support on occasion, but unfortunately I cannot afford to work for free.  I invest a lot of time and money into products and ability to provide the quality results you see here.  Facepainting is always a great draw with long lineups because it is something most people really love.  When you find willing volunteers, set them up with Snazaroo face paint, brushes and some images from the Snazaroo website.  There’s lots of great ideas there that are fairly simple to learn.”]
[piece icon=”ok” title=”How long do glitter tattoos last?” content=”

Glitter tattoos are waterproof and stay on 3-5 days because they are glitter stuck to cosmetic grade ‘glue’. As long as you treat them gently and don’t ‘rub’ them with clothing or towels, they are a great solution for wet and hot days. They still can be removed easily though if you want or when they start to wear down, with baby oil or some isopropyl alcohol.”]
[piece icon=”ok” title=”How much notice do you need to book an event?” content=”

The sooner the better really, to avoid disappointment. Weekends are the most popular days and there are a limited amount in the year. Some seasons are more popular than others though. End of school year is busy with carnivals and then summer is filled with many festivals and parties. Halloween is my ‘Superbowl’ and is the one time I take individual appointments in my home in Mission. Those book very fast. December has a lot of Christmas parties, so even then it’s important to book as early as you can. Many events book a year in advance.”]
